France has much to offer beyond Paris, but the City of Lights is a must.
Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world; in every corner, every nook, and every cranny, there is something to see. It offers a glimpse at the magic of an era long gone by. Its inhabitants come with a certain snobbery, but who can blame them with a city that glamorous.
Beyond Paris, there is much to discovers. The South of France offers the Mediterranean coastline, as well as the Provence. The South’s interior regions are famous for their lavender fields, olive groves, fabulous markets, and warm welcome. On the Westside, you have Normandy: beautiful yet somber. It still amazes me how peaceful and untouched this area looks as if nothing ever happened.
No matter what you would like to do in France, we are here to help you customize your trip!
The time needed: If you want to visit Paris only, give yourself six days. If you are planning on seeing several areas (e.g., Paris and the South of France, or Paris and London), we suggest you give yourself at least eight days. Keep in mind the long flight (8 hours from NYC) as well as the considerable time difference.
Budgeting: A 6-day vacation to Paris for 2, including Coach class airfare, 3 – 4* hotels, local transfers, and some tours starts at about $5,000
Combination countries: France can easily be combined with the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, or Switzerland.
